C&W Helps HCL Win Major ICT Outsourcing Contract

The Challenge

HCL entered into a 12-month procurement process to outsource the ICT operations for a London Borough Council. A strategic objective for the council was to save £40 million from its real estate through a Smarter Working Program, enabling staff to spend less time tied to their desks and more time in the community.


The Solution

Cushman & Wakefield supported the HCL bid team in developing an understanding of how to deliver not only the property savings but enhanced benefits around service delivery. Our team also helped to deliver a community engagement program to address worklessness and identified a suitable building to accommodate the outsourced operation and an Enterprise hub.


The Results

HCL was the successful bidder for the strategic partnership with the Council.
