The Challenge

Liverpool ONE is a mixed-use development in the heart of Liverpool city centre. With 1.4 million sq ft of retail space, together with 2 hotels, offices, apartments, and car parking, it is the most important redevelopment of the city centre for over 40 years and has created a stunning retail and leisure environment within one of Europe’s premier cities. Liverpool One has five unique retail zones with their individual feel and tenant mix. The highly complex project was delivered in just four years. In all, some 30 new buildings were delivered, designed by more than 26 different architects. Liverpool ONE was opened in 2008. It has acted as a catalyst for further regeneration projects in the city and propelled Liverpool back up the retail rankings.

The Solution

We aim to create a unique, innovative and successful retail environment, which offers customers the very best retail experience. We matched tenants with the catchment and use tenant mix to create the perfect retail environment.

The Results

Recent lettings to House of and Beauty Bazaar by Harvey Nichols are the first in the UK. Liverpool One has been chosen because both Grosvenor and the customers of Liverpool One have an openness and appreciation of new brands and retail innovation.
