The Challenge
Cushman & Wakefield was instructed by Rank Group to advise on their real estate strategy spread across 3 offices, including their UK HQ premises in Maidenhead, and two further offices in Paddington and Highbury.
The requirement was to provide a more efficient working environment that meets with their business requirements.
The Solution
Following a thorough review of alternative premises, a shortlist of suitable options was agreed with the client and a detailed financial analysis conducted. Negotiations were conducted with a number of parties covering various outcomes that were being driven by the business operation. Options included full and partial consolidation of existing premises.
The Results
Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the acquisition of a reversionary lease at Rank’s existing HQ premises in Maidenhead and consolidate their Paddington and Highbury offices into a single unit in Victoria.
