Acting on behalf of Wincanton we were instructed as joint agents to sell or let a 152,000 sq ft unit in Preston Brook which was surplus to requirements.
The unit benefited from a fully automated warehouse with an eaves height of 28m which was purpose built but as it was very specialised only appealed to a limited number of occupiers.
Following an extensive marketing programme, two owner-occupier parties were identified and bids received. Over a matter of weeks a best and final bids scenario was concluded with an offer being accepted in excess of the asking price and contracts for sale being exchanged swiftly.
Having marketed the property extensively we were able to react quickly and provide strategic advice to ensure our client received the best possible realisation and certainty that the deal would complete.
