The Challenge

Cushman & Wakefield was appointed by Redevco to provide advice on the marketing of the First and Second Floors (36,000 sq ft) following the expiry of two separate leases. We provided advice on the refurbishment specification and marketing strategy to re-launch the accommodation onto the market. Cushman & Wakefield worked alongside the client and design team to provide market led advice on the layout and finishes.

The Solution

Advise client, working with the design team to agree the correct specification for the floors to ensure the specification was in line with market requirements.

Implement a marketing campaign to re-launch the refurbished floors onto the market ensuring maximum exposure.  The campaign was very high quality and focused on the large floorplates. During the instruction a marketing campaign was structured to target local, national and international occupiers.

Negotiation of terms for the pre-letting of both floors was agreed.

The Results

The refurbishment of the First Floor was completed in March 2013 and by December 2013 a lease completed with Clydesdale Bank Plc.  During January 2014, the Clydesdale Bank agreed terms to secure the Second Floor which required to be refurbished as part of the deal.
