The Challenge
Following a competitive pitching process, Cushman & Wakefield was instructed in 2013 to provide development, marketing and agency advice to BAM Properties in connection with the redevelopment of the former Bank of Scotland's Headquarters at 110 Queen Street, Glasgow. The proposed development was to create a sustainable, Grade A office building located in the heart of Glasgow's Central Business District.
The Solution
Working alongside the client and design team, C&W provided market led advice on the design, finishes and best practice for the building.
During the instruction, a phased marketing campaign was structured to target local, national and international occupiers during the construction programme. The campaign was very high quality and involved the production of a website, on-site marketing materials, interim marketing brochure and various promotional events.
The Results
During the construction, pre-lets were agreed to Brodies LLP (25,516 sq ft), Grant Thornton LLP (14,973 sq ft) and Deloitte LLP (18,169 sq ft).
