The Challenge

Bracewell & Giuliani, a Texas based law firm, wanted to create a high class workplace in the City of London to house their newly opened London office.

The Solution

The brief included creating new functional spaces and adapting the previous office fit out to form client facing meeting rooms, an impressive reception and waiting area as well as creating attorney offices and associated administrative facilities.

The client wanted to design the space to utilize the previous fit out where suitable, and remodel other areas of the floor to create a light and dynamic space to work in. This involved both Category A and B refurbishment and fit out works to create a suitable space. As part of the works all of the office lighting was replaced and a large reception area created.

Our project management team worked closely with the landlord and other building tenants to ensure that the fit out was undertaken within the fast track nine week programme timescales, which was challenging with a large building, with the goods lift in constant use for the restaurant within the building.

The Results

The project was successfully delivered within a nine week programme, completing in October 2013, with a very positive reception from the management and staff alike.

The finishes within the property were of a high quality and extensive quality management and snagging was undertaken to ensure that any defects and snags were resolved.

We were able to deliver the project on time and under budget through close monitoring and management of the design process as well as progress on site, including monitoring of change and costs.
