Cushman & Wakefield, the global property adviser, has announced the appointment of Frank Nickel as Executive Chairman of the firm’s Corporate Finance business in EMEA. Frank Nickel, will continue in his role as Managing Partner/CEO of Cushman & Wakefield in Germany.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Corporate Finance team in EMEA comprises 28 employees and provides transaction and financial advisory services to property investors, occupiers, banks and fund managers. Specialists within the team advise on loan structuring and re-financing solutions; the structuring and launch of funds and joint-ventures; sale and leasebacks, re-gearing and restructuring of leases and lease liability portfolio transfers for occupiers; valuation, sale and acquisition of loans and loan portfolios.

Frank Nickel took over leadership of Cushman & Wakefield in Germany in January 2012. He has since led the business’ five German offices – located in Frankfurt, where he is based; Berlin; Düsseldorf; Hamburg and Munich – which have approximately 220 employees.
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Frank Nickel led the Commercial Real Estate Group of Deutsche Bank for six years. He has over 20 years of experience in the real estate business.
