Global property agent Cushman & Wakefield has announced the appointment of two new partners in Scotland.
Following two years of strong growth when turnover has soared by over 50%, Isla Monteith has been promoted to Partner, Retail Services and Stephen Bibby to Partner, Retail Capital Markets.
The duo are based in the company's Edinburgh office, which is headed up by Stuart Moncur, Partner and Head of National Retail Services. He said: "Both Isla and Stephen are extremely hardworking people and are tremendous assets to the business. They richly deserve their promotions."
Isla, who joined Cushman & Wakefield ten years ago, is one of Scotland's most active retail agents and represents major clients like Nando’s, Costa, Redevco, TH Real Estate, New River, Legal & General and EE.
She has worked on many high profile lettings in recent years including the Hugo Boss flagship store in Ingram Street in Glasgow and The Kooples in Edinburgh. Over the last 12 months she has handled major lettings for landlords to tenants like Costa on Sauchiehall Street, Sweaty Betty in Royal Exchange Square in Glasgow and acted on behalf of ESPC in securing a relocation on George Street in Edinburgh.
Since starting with the business in 2005, Stephen Bibby has established himself as one of the business's most active dealmakers. In addition to notable high street and shopping centre transactions, recent successes have also included the purchase of Fife Leisure Park in Dunfermline and the purchase of Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee.
David Davidson, Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield in Scotland, said: "Both Stephen and Isla have played key roles in the continued growth of two of the busiest sectors of our business in recent years - retail services and capital markets, and I am delighted that their performance has been recognised by these promotions.
“A business is only as good as the next generation of talent it produces and it has been great to see Stephen and Isla rise through the ranks, inspiring us all with their energy and commitment to get the best results for their clients."
