Cushman & Wakefield has won the hotly contested title of Scotland’s Most Active Retail Agent for the third time.
The Scottish team, which has offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, was ranked number one by industry website EGi after another incredible year when they completed a record 223 deals.
Major successes included the acquisition of 12 stores for Store Twenty One and the re-appointment on the leasing and strategic asset management of The Centre, Livingston.
Stuart Moncur, Partner and Head of National Retail Services - UK, who heads up the Scottish retail team said: “We are thrilled to have been voted Scotland’s Most Active Retail Agent for a third time.
“2014 was another great year for the team both in terms of working with our existing client base and winning new business. We currently represent 15 shopping centres with over 9 million sq ft of space between them and were responsible for the majority of lettings in Scotland’s two premier shopping thoroughfares – Buchanan Street in Glasgow and Princes Street in Edinburgh.
“We also have been expanding our presence in retail parks with five new appointments in 2014 alone. Our other big growth area has been the leisure and restaurant market sector working with clients like Nando’s, Costa and Burger King and securing the first Bill’s restaurant in Scotland.”
