Cushman & Wakefield has been selected by the Port of Milford Haven as their development consultant for the Milford Dock Master Plan. The £70 million regeneration scheme, which will be developed in phases, includes 480,000 sq.ft. of space available for food, retail, leisure, entertainment and residential.

Outline Planning Permission for the Milford Dock development, which is set to completely transform the area and stimulate further investment across the entire town of Milford Haven, was approved in February 2015 by Pembrokeshire County Council.

Port of Milford Haven Estates Director Jeff Teague, said: “The decision to appoint Cushman & Wakefield was based on their vast experience and expertise in mixed-use developments. We were looking for a long term partner who could prepare development packages to suit the varied profile of the Master Plan – from new buildings for the fishing industry through to new retail and leisure offerings.

“We had excellent proposals from a number of teams. What shone through in the proposal from Cushman & Wakefield was that they fully understood and grasped our long-term vision for Milford Haven and were able to clearly demonstrate the best way to transform the area whilst recognising and retaining its uniqueness.”

Cushman & Wakefield is a well-established, reputable development agent operating globally across 250 offices in 60 countries. Commenting on the appointment, Philip Prince for Cushman & Wakefield, said: “We are excited to be on board with the team at the Port of Milford Haven and to be advising on such a transformational project which will create long term prosperity for Milford Haven and the surrounding area.”

The project team was led by Port of Milford Haven Estates Director, Jeff Teague, assisted by Turley as lead consultant and a small group of sub-consultants.
