Global real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield headed to the home of Harlequins rugby at Twickenham Stoop last week with some of its top clients to compete with England rugby stars in the C&W Rugby Experience 2015.
The event, which took place on Thursday, 23 May, saw England rugby captain Chris Robshaw and fellow international James Haskell scrum-down with senior representatives from premier clients of the firm, including Apple, Standard Life, Rockspring, Legal & General, M&G Investments, LondonMetric, Moorfield, Meadow Partners, F&C Reit and TH Real Estate.
Each participant took part in a variety of activities throughout the afternoon including a touch game, a kicking tournament and a Q&A session with Robshaw and Haskell. The day concluded in traditional fashion with a few post-game drinks to ensure the necessary recovery of all those involved, before heading to a dinner hosted by Harlequins rugby in the players’ lounge.
Cushman & Wakefield’s UK out-of-town retail investment partner, Justin Houlihan, said: “It was a fantastic day and gave everyone a unique insight into the minds of two acclaimed England internationals in the build up to the Rugby World Cup in October. To have the opportunity to run out at The Stoop with the players was a real one-off and will be long remembered.”
