Neil Batty joins firm as Head of International Sales
Cushman & Wakefield has made a senior hire in its London residential team with the recruitment of Neil Batty as Head of International Sales.
Neil has more than 20 years’ experience in the Central London residential market, providing residential development and sales advice for clients including Argent, Ballymore and Berkeley Group.
A specialist in international sales, Neil’s career to-date includes 10 years at Savills and eight at Knight Frank as Head of International Project Marketing, while he has also extensive consultancy experience with developers, international clients and agents.
Candice Matthews, Head of Residential at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Growth of the Residential team remains a key priority for Cushman & Wakefield. We have made significant headway in expanding the team and are seeing strong results from the investment in our London sales team and global infrastructure, as well as significant synergies brought about by the global merger last year.
“The firm benefits from an exceptional global brand and market-leading position in China, and as market conditions toughen being able to leverage this to source buyers is of paramount importance to our clients. Neil’s experience in the international sales markets, coupled with his strong track record of development consultancy and marketing makes him a perfect fit for Cushman & Wakefield. Allied to the strength and expertise of the existing team, I believe we are exceptionally well placed to provide robust and creative advice which reflects the current challenges and opportunities in the market.”
Neil Batty, Head of International Sales, added: “I’m really excited to be joining Cushman & Wakefield which has big plans to take a significant share of this market. One of the most exciting things for me is to be joining a firm that has a network in mainland China that completely eclipses any other firm and a growing presence in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar.”
