Cushman & Wakefield's office agency team in Manchester has been named ‘Office Agent of the Year’ in the North West Property Awards 2017.
The team fought off still competition to be awarded the accolade at a ceremony attended by 1,000 of the North West’s top professionals, developers, agents and architects at Manchester Central.
In a highly competitive category, judges praised Cushman & Wakefield’s involvement in a wide range of developments delivering transformation in the North West.
In total, the team completed 80 deals and let over 1 million sq ft of office space in the region. Highlights include being involved in the largest city centre letting since 2010 which saw Swinton Insurance take 165,000 sq ft of space at 101 Embankment and the largest inward investment letting in over a decade which saw FreshfieldsBruckhaus Deringer take 81,293 sq ft at One New Bailey.
The Manchester office agency team consists of Rob Yates (Partner), Jonathan Baucher (Partner), Philip Meakin (Associate), Rob Prescott (Senior Surveyor) and Andrew Crabtree (Assistant Surveyor).
