Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Colin McCash as partner and head of its Scottish Valuation Team.
Prior to joining the global property agents, Colin was a partner and head of the National Valuation Team at Graham + Sibbald and is one of the most respected valuation experts in Scotland.
He leads a team of 10 valuers in Glasgow and Edinburgh, working with indigenous and foreign lenders, funds, property companies and Scottish businesses.
Stuart Dorward, Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Scotland, said: “Colin has a huge wealth of experience in valuations in the office, retail and industrial sectors and we are thrilled he has joined us. In a turbulent commercial property market where values can change quickly, having someone with his insight and expertise to advise our clients on their current and potential real estate investments is vitally important and he will be a tremendous asset to the business.”
Colin added: “I am very excited by the opportunity to work with Cushman & Wakefield, and further develop the valuation side of the Scottish business with an experienced and highly skilled team. It is fantastic to be able to tap in to the C&W wide skill set with market leaders across all sectors, which is essential in such a rapidly changing economic climate and property market. I am looking forward to working with not just the valuation team but across other disciplines to provide the best possible service for owners, lenders, purchasers and investors.”
