The Quay Glasgow Receives Top Quality Assurance Award

A popular Glasgow leisure scheme, managed by Cushman & Wakefield, has received a top tourism award.

Following its first-ever assessment visit, The Quay Glasgow situated on the banks of the River Clyde in Glasgow has scooped Visit Scotland’s top Quality Assurance award to be named a 4-star tourism destination.

The national tourism organisation’s high quality grading was awarded to the leisure and entertainment complex in recognition of the superb visitor experience they offer.

The Visit Scotland Quality Assurance scheme, which has been developed and improved over 30 years, provides visitors with an independent, impartial and trusted guide to standards. Delivered by a dedicated team of experts who offer scheme members advice and support on how to not only meet visitor expectations but exceed them, the scheme aims to drive standards and encourage excellence whilst helping attractions and businesses and businesses reach their full potential and secure their success. That in turn delivers great results for Scotland’s tourism industry and economy.

The Quay Glasgow has achieved other impressive accolades over the past year by winning the prestigious Scottish Hospitality Award in the category of ‘ Best Shopping Centre/ Entertainment Complex in 2016 and is again a finalist at the 2017 awards which take place on 26 June 2017.
