Cushman & Wakefield has made three new appointments to its UK residential investment team, as it continues its rapid expansion in specialist markets.
Mark Clegg will be responsible for driving forward the firm’s residential standing investment service when he joins as an International Partner later in the year. Clegg will join from CBRE where he was a Senior Director of the Residential Capital Markets team. Before this, he was Head of Residential Investment at Cluttons, following 10 years at Knight Frank.
Clegg will be joined in the residential standing investment team by Associate Rufus Morgan also from CBRE. Morgan previously spent five years at Chestertons. In addition, Lewis Smith is to join Cushman & Wakefield’s Built to Rent team as a Senior Surveyor from Savills.
Cushman & Wakefield has one of the largest capital markets platforms in the world, with many of its 900 professionals focused on the expanding sectors of residential / multi-family, hospitality, healthcare and student investment.

The appointments are the latest in a series of senior hires within Cushman & Wakefield’s residential and alternatives teams. These include Rich Thomas joining the Residential Development team as a Partner from BNP Paribas Real Estate, and Caryn Donahue, also a Partner, to head up its UK Retirement Living team.
