Candice Matthews, Head of Residential at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “The continued rapid expansion of this team is a key priority for Cushman & Wakefield’s UK business. By leveraging our global strength in capital markets, existing multifamily platform in the US, and expanding presence in UK residential we are creating a market-leading proposition for clients. We are delighted Mark, Rufus and Lewis are coming on board at such an exciting time for our firm.”

David Haynes, International Partner, responsible for UK specialist sectors at Cushman & Wakefield, added: “We have made significant headway in expanding our team over the past 12 months and are seeing strong results from this investment across our residential, student, and healthcare teams in the UK and Europe. This is allowing us to keep pace with client demand for our insight at a time when investors’ allocation and portfolio weighting to these sectors is expanding.”

The appointments are the latest in a series of senior hires within Cushman & Wakefield’s residential and alternatives teams. These include Rich Thomas joining the Residential Development team as a Partner from BNP Paribas Real Estate, and Caryn Donahue, also a Partner, to head up its UK Retirement Living team.
