HOW CAN WE HELP

The Public Sector Advisory team is trained to provide quality assured financial modelling and business case services to both private and public sector clients, including:

  • Feasibility studies
  • Options analysis
  • Discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis
  • ‘Green book’ appraisals
  • Business cases:
    • Strategic Outline (SOC)
    • Outline (OBC)
    • Full (FBC)
    • Five Cases

We appreciate that business cases for change are subject to challenge and need to be robust to withstand scrutiny. As such, we are able to provide complex financial modelling solutions that reflect the economic costs, benefits, affordability and risks relevant to a particular project.

In our experience considerable value is lost by failure to appreciate long term asset management implications arising from property decisions. We can demonstrate the link from property decisions to the organisations balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.

EXPERIENCE

We are experienced in meeting the particular public sector requirements of HM Treasury and those of specific funding bodies, clients include:

  • Enterprise Zone financial modelling for:
    • Department for Communities & Local Government
    • Birmingham & Solihull LEP
    • Black Country LEP
    • North East Lincolnshire LEP
  • Home Office – Property rationalisation modelling as a result of The Way We Work (TW3) smart working initiative
  • Bradford District Care Trust – Options appraisal and financial modelling for estate rationalisation as part of public sector hub in Keighley
  • Crown Prosecution Service – Strategic planning of the central government departments London and South East property portfolio
  • Ministry of Justice – Birmingham Asset Management Plan
